Welcome to Eastwood Country House, a very special Bed & Breakfast haven just off the A40 and A478 on the outskirts of the small bustling town of Narberth with its art and craft shops, bars and restaurants.
Set in 50 acres this delightful family-run country house with extensive views over beautiful countryside offers a warm welcome throughout the year.
Idyllically situated at the end of a long drive that winds around a secret valley, the pretty Georgian house front is first glimpsed across a pond.
The delightful large bright bedrooms decorated in country house style with antiques and original features can be doubles, twins or family rooms all with large comfy beds and down duvets. Adjoining each bedroom is a well appointed private bathroom.
The comfortably furnished sitting room with open fire, flat screen TV, comfy sofas, antiques and artwork is ideal for relaxing after a busy day or take a stroll in the grounds admiring the many mature trees on site including the Beech Tree Walk. A hearty Welsh or continental breakfast sourced from Pembrokeshire produce is served at the antique refectory table in the country kitchen-diner with its slate slab floors, open fireplace and log burner.
There’s heaps to do right on the doorstep. Narberth is 3 minutes drive, Herons Brook 18 hole golf course is even closer. Folly Farm, Oakwood and Blue Lagoon are 6 minutes drive time and in Pembrokeshire you’re never far from the stunning Coast path and sandy beaches,(Saundersfoot 8miles and Tenby 12 miles approx) for water sports, fishing and relaxing. If it’s history that appeals – Narberth Castle and Museum and Picton Castle with it's famous garden are close by and Carew Castle and Pembroke Castle a few miles more.
For business travellers we’re well located for easy access all over Pembrokeshire. For holidaymakers into walking, cycling, bird watching or nature loving, just off the grounds are Bridle Paths to Caneston Woods, Blackpool Mill, the Upper Cleddau estuary, the Landsker Borderlands Trail and B-roads that take you to hidden parts of Pembrokeshire.
